 Jehovah Sabbaoth - The Lord of Host.

Jehovah Sabbaoth was a name that was frequently used by the children of Israel whenever they needed the intervention of God when going to war or any battle. Host means the heavenly armies; God is their leader and So if God shows himself as the God of host in any situation that particular situation would have no choice than to surrender. The book of Isaiah 14:27 confirms this " For the Lord of hosts has decided and planned, and who can annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?” . The bible is full of examples of people who called on Jehovah Sabboath in difficult circumstances and were not put to shame. e.g Hannah who was barren prayed to God for a male child and she gave birth to Samuel_(1samuel 1:11), David a small shepherd boy when he faced and defeated Goliath a warrior / giant (1samuel 17:45.) David was wise enough to know he needed God to succeed in the battle against Goliath so he had no choice than to call on the Lord of host. David, severally in his psalms referred to God as the Lord of host. (_Psalms 46:11, psalm 48:8.). When you call on the Lord of host and your ways are right with him he will continue to fight every one of your battles for you no matter how strong it may be. The captain of the Lords host is Jesus, he can not fight for you without you calling him into your life. (Revelation 3:20) confirmed this. He is always willing to fight for those who have surrendered their life to him. The question is are you willing to accept him? It is impossible to contend with the battle of this world alone (Sicknesses, Diseases, poverty etc) all caused by the forces of this world (Satan and his agents) so if you don't belong to Satan you have to belong to Jesus the Lord of Host who is the only one who is able to defeat Satan " For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8) In conclusion, it is only the name of Jesus that can make the heavenly host to fight on your behalf. The earlier he starts fighting for you the more joy you begin to experience. Do not procrastinate your salvation; Give your life to Jesus today then the Lord of host will fight for you " The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10 ).
